If When We Meet I Fail to See – Graphic Print

COMMENTARY

Sometimes we are at a loss to see the good that dwells in people–even in our best friends.  God has placed His spark of goodness and love in the hearts of many men and women.  From time to time we need to be still and allow people to love us with that Christ love from deep inside us.  Perhaps we need to remind each other of the rare love that is expressed by Him in our own lives.  A quick smile and gentle word to a person going through a difficult time can help them to get in touch with the real Jesus that dwells within them.

If when we meet I fail to see

The good that dwells in you,

Just flash a smile across your face

And I will know ‘tis true

That you are sure a loyal friend,

When others turn away;

And as a beacon you will give

Shared light to guide my day.
