COMMENTARY

We have all heard the phrase, “Isn’t she a beautiful woman!” A woman’s beauty is not just outward, but when she is indwelt by the Spirit of the Lord Jesus, there is a radiance that cannot be matched by mere makeup alone. Beauty also consists of godly character. If a woman is full of the fruits of the Holy Spirit of God, then she is beautiful to the hurting and needy who cross her path each day. As a woman dwells in Christ she becomes a candidate for God to surround her with protective love and divine care. She is full of good works for the Kingdom of God. Every woman should earnestly desire to become attractive due to the indwelling of the Lord Jesus in the heart, then, and only then, will she be truly beautiful.
