of the King, when will you celebrate your next birthday? How old will
you be? Some of you will think, "I am getting older."
Others will say, "I am so young, I have my whole life ahead of
me." Do you know who is the Lord of time? It is the Lord your
God. your Father decides how long you will live and the exact date,
time and minute of your departure from this life. Do not take any
comfort in the fact that you believe that you have a certain amount
of time remaining. Your Father has the power to take your life and
expand it by years and years if He sees necessary. Also, He can allow
your young life to come to an end far in advance of your thinking! It
is healthy for you to say, "Father, my “times and seasons”
(Daniel 2:21 NKJV) are in your hands! If you choose, I will live out
my life fully. If you choose, you may take me home to heaven at any
given moment which is to the greatest glory to you and best advantage
to me and my loved ones!" Do you see how fragile and dependent
you are on your Father's good pleasure? (His will for you is always
"wrapped up in His love for you!") If you believe this
statement, and accept it into your heart, no matter what happens to
you and for you in the days coming, you will say, "may the name
of the Lord be praised, He has chosen for me only the better portion
of His love, grace and mercies!" Can you say that now? If you
are suffering from physical afflictions and wish for death, you must
know that this wish is a death wish, and it fights against the person
of the Lord Jesus who has come (always) "That they may have life
and have it more abundantly." (John 10:10b NKJV) If you despair
of life and wish death, you should repent of this sin. You have
invited the Enemy to work his death against you. You may be suffering
because of this! Say to the Father, "Savior, you alone know what
is best. You know that I am suffering in this body and in my
emotions. However, I give you praise, that you have chosen to allow
me to remain here on the earth until your chosen hour to take me home
to heaven. I refuse to wish death upon myself. Instead, "I shall
live and declare the works of the Lord.” John 118:17 NKJV) In
the name of Jesus! Beloved, many of my children suffer from multiple
afflictions. Some pray and praise their way through these trials of
their faith and faithfulness to God despite these things. Some have
learned as Paul to "glory in my infirmities!" (II
Corinthians 12:9) Are you rejoicing in the God of your Salvation?
This is a good thing for you to do right now! It will promote your
spiritual life and growth in the presence of your Father!
Prayer
Father, you always know what is best for me. I know that this "light affliction which is but for a moment" (II Corinthians 4:17) is but for a short time here on the earth, and in the future with you will be much rejoicing! Help me to walk through this earth with peace, joy and praising to your holy name in the name of Jesus, amen!
