I prayed for a Christmas poem simply because I had not written on the theme before. My favorite time of the year is the Christmas season. I love the lights and decorated trees and homes. However, let it be known everywhere and to all peoples of the world,
We have this time of Christmas Joy
Because of what He’s (Jesus) done!
Had it not been for the wonderful sacrifice of Jesus’ life on the cross of Calvary’s hill, I would pass the 24th and 25th of December as though they were any other day. They are not! It is a time to remember that,
From a wooden crib to high-held cross,
The Savior’s journey sure,
Has opened wide to all the world
A fountain rich and pure.
Come celebrate with me this joyful season of remembrance and joyful celebration of the birth of the Lord Jesus!
